NEW YORK, May 4 (newratings.com) - Analyst Romit J Shah of Lehman Brothers initiates coverage of Marvell Technology Group Ltd (MRVL.NAS) with an "overweight" rating. The target price is set to $20.

In a research note published yesterday, the analyst mentions that the company�s new flash controller product is likely to be introduced this week, with the launch of Santa Rosa and Robson Technology at INTC's analyst day. The flash controller, designed by Marvell Technology, would be branded by INTC, the analyst says. The controller is likely to enable Marvell Technology to increase its footprint in the handset, MP3 player, USB drive and digital camera markets going forward, Lehman Brothers adds.
