never? That's absurd. Clearly the momentum of technology and consumer needs/wants will force a new generation of musical storage/playing devices just as it has previously in the evolution of this industry and others. A consensus and coalition of necessary supporting players will come together just as has taken place in the past.
It is, as you suggest in your posts, impossible to name the precise time which will be most fruitful for EDIG and other related companies, but is equally impossible to deny that such a time will come. The reluctance to move forward which you cite will, at some point in the not-too-distant future, crumble and fall before the momentum resulting from the forces I mention above.
You make some interesting points, however, particularly vis a vis the "two steps forward - one step back" process that has been playing out for the last few years. It is because of the obvious nature of such a process that one who believes in this company, and the future to which it points, cannot get too worked up about the "delays" which are the subject of so many tired and redundant posts on the RB board. In fact, being comfortable with the process is inherent in the ability to be an informed investor.
