MRVL May 17.50 calls are seeing heavy buying this morning, with some takeover chatter making the rounds for the second day in a row. Specifically, 9700 May 17.50 calls have traded so far this morning, vs open interest of 68.8K, pushing implied volatility up around 10 points to ~49%. This call buying suggests heightened expectations for near-term volatility in the stock, with exposure to the upside... We note that MRVL options have seen increased activity over the past two weeks, with a heavy focus on the call side.
