yourbankruptcy, holiday shopping - it depends on when AMD delivered processors to OEMs. Let's say AMD announces tommorrow, complete with references to models ready to sell. Then yes, it would add to holiday shopping.

I don't think there would be any point to an announcement without parts. Actually, we have the opposite - persistant reports of parts without an announcement.

For all we know, there could be units caged at Best Buy as we speak.
