I tried to explain that mm's short on the bid when retail buyers insist on buying on the bid. So, they are not going to cover unless the stock goes lower. Investors don't realize the damage they do to a stock when the they keep their orders on the bid. The simple thinking is that they are supporting the bid, but that is not the case in pinks. So, after they short sell to you on the bid, they have to drop it further to cover. Simple.
