How is that legit? A company comes along and says, "Hey, come buy a piece of my company, we are doing great things". And then the next day they turn around and sell 100 million shares and dilute the value of the shares.

Seems like a scam to me. Is there any hope?

I am too new at this to understand, can someone enlighten me a bit please?
