More information and questions from OPN #s, etc.

Looking at the NewEgg pictures of their 3000+, 3200+ and FX-51, we see the following codes:

3000+ ADA 3000 A E P 4 AP CAA0C 0343 U PMW
3200+ ADA 3200 A E P 5 AP CAAMC 0335 S PMW
FX-51 ADA FX51 C E P 5 AK CAAMC 0335 U PMW

We know:

ADA = "brand" (desktop)
3000/3200/FX51 = "model"
A / C = "package type" (lidded 754 / lidded 940)
E = "operating voltage" (1.5v)
P = "case temp" (70C)
4 /5 = "L2 cache size" (512K / 1 Mb)
AP / AK = "part definition"

Going further:

CAA0C / CAAMC = ??? Note: the Newcastle appears to be different... what does this stand for?

0343 / 0335 = "production year/week" ( 43rd week of 2003 / 35th week of 2003) Note: this Newcastle was therefore made in early November.

U / S = ??? Note: The 3200+ is the odd man out. What could this be?

PMW = ???

Anyone have an idea?

Doug
