Doug: Re: Did you really take a course, or did you just read 'Chaos Theory' or some other popular math book?

I won't get into this too much, other to say that my Ph.D is in physics, and I have had many non-linear physics and mathematics courses. I have also read James Glieck's popular book "Chaos" (not "Chaos Theory").

Well, I wouldn't say "patterns are attractors", though trajectories near attractors may certainly trace out 'patterns'...

May I suggest that you are significantly over your head here. That statement made no sense, and you are clearly BS-ing. You are better served sticking to subjects that you can intelligently discuss.

I'm afraid you're not reading very closely, again, or you don't understand what the scientific method and experimental design are all about.

You are certainly being frisky for someone who has just posted some gibberish about "patterns" and "attractors". Is it part of the scientific method to pretend to be an expect about something that you actually obviously know nothing about?

Trust me when I say that I know *exactly* what scientific method and experimental design are all about.

Does that make it clear to you?

You have made at least one thing perfectly clear! LOL!
