Been wanting to tell you I live next door for awhile (Baytown). Just didn't have the time.

I didn't want to intrude but just wanted to say you're mostly correct. The process is hydrogenated prior to preheat as you stated according to the flow diagram. It is my view an excess amount of hydrogen will be needed to ensure adequate conversion takes place. Should that be correct, then the excess, which is then recycled back to the front end of the process, will probably be analyzed to ensure an adequate supply is coming in as there will be a loss in the process. H2 would therefore not be a by-product of the process since it is introduced into it. Also I think to get H2 out of the water it would take a different set-up and not be economical. Alex did state his H2 source is green by the way.
