Survey: Only 18% Of Providers Ready For HIPAA


Technology provides a set of tools for securing doors. But choosing the right tool means deciding the door's primary function, according to Joel S. Goldman, an attorney specializing in security matters for San Francisco legal firm Hanson Bridgett:

· Door monitoring: The front door -- the busiest door -- should be staffed whenever it's unlocked. But simply staffing that door isn't enough, according to Goldman. "People get distracted," he said. "Having some sort of technological system in place can help."
