VANCOUVER, BC, Dec. 12, 2003 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- LIVESTAR Entertainment
Group Inc. ("LIVESTAR" or the "Company") (OTC BB: LSTA) today provides
information regarding symbol change.

Earlier today, an E was assigned to LIVESTAR's trading symbol on the OTC
Bulletin Board. LIVESTAR has learned that the E was assigned because the
certifications of the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Financial Officer
pursuant to Section 906 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 had inadvertently not
been attached to LIVESTAR's Form 10-QSB for the fiscal quarter ended September
30, 2003. An amendment to the Form 10-QSB adding the certifications was filed
with the Securities and Exchange Commission today at 12:16 p.m. Eastern time. It
has now been posted on the OTC Bulletin Board Daily List (www.otcbb.com) that
the E will be removed for the beginning of trading on Monday, December 15, 2003.
