Hi Brad,

As another year end approaches, I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide some reassurance or information that has me somewhat discontented as a long time NVEI shareholder. Please answer the following questions to the best of your ability:

1. Is Tom Cooper still a member of the BOD for NVEI? In a recent article its stated: "he is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Artemi Ltd." If in fact he still remains on the NVEI Board, wouldn't that be considered a conflict of interest?

2. It appears that NVEI has been having difficulty securing any significant funding packages (aside from the 300K recently announced). You previously stated that NVEI was pursing not one, but several funding options. Does the lack of a definite funding package indicate that NVEI has turned down offers because the terms were not suitable or is the situation that NVEI has received multiples rejections from the various financial institutes that they approached?

3. Recently in a letter to shareholders you stated that you can foresee revenues from the technology side of the business in the first half of 2004 - is NVEI still on track for this? Can you please provide a ballpark estimate for the amount of revenues that NVEI project managers have anticipated?

Thank you for taking the time to read this email (and hopefully responding). I understand that frequent shareholder emails can be time consuming and frustrating, so therefore I only email you on very rare occasions because I consider you a respectable individual that takes the time to respond to serious concerns (such as this one).

Best Regards,
Ron (cosmoworld7@excite.com)

PS: a personal response would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ron,

Sorry for the oversight in responding to you. I cannot say anything in an email to you that has not already been said publicly, of course, but my comments below might offer some help to you. As always, please feel free to call me in the office at any time at 619-692-0333.

1. Is Tom Cooper still a member of the BOD for NVEI? Yes
In a recent article its stated: "he is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Artemi Ltd." If in fact he still remains on the NVEI Board, wouldn't that be considered a conflict of interest? Artimi is not a competitor to NV, so his employment poses no conflict of interest

2. It appears that NVEI has been having difficulty securing any significant funding packages (aside from the 300K recently announced). You previously stated that NVEI was pursing not one, but several funding options. Does the lack of a definite funding package indicate that NVEI has turned down offers because the terms were not suitable Yes
or is the situation that NVEI has received multiples rejections from the various financial institutes that they approached? No

3. Recently in a letter to shareholders you stated that you can foresee revenues from the technology side of the business in the first half of 2004 - is NVEI still on track for this? Yes
Can you please provide a ballpark estimate for the amount of revenues that NVEI project managers have anticipated? We will be providing such estimates next year when we are closer to releasing the product
