Sea Surface Temperatures (SST) April 27th.

I, or if anyone else wants to, will post a chart comparing this years SST to 2005's to compare just one of the many factors included in Hurricane development.

As of right now:
- SST in the Gulf of Mexico and the Eastern Atlantic are LOWER now than they were in 2005

- SST in the Caribbean and the Western Atlantic are HIGHER now than they were in 2005.

(Early Trop Storms/Hurricanes that devleop in May/June develop more in the Caribbean and Gulf, while the July August September storms are more Cape Verde Storms - formed off the coast of africa that ride the ITCZ across the Atlantic.)
