DI - The problem you have is that you make conclusions, and you ask others to make conclusions, with insufficient information. I am convinced that Aurus is legit. But, I have no idea where the PPS might go if they turn down the offer and neither do you. Given all that we know right now, it would be reasonable to expect the PPS to decline in that situation as the flippers would want out and the shorters would go crazy. However, Aurus could provide additional information that could cause a very different reaction. I consider it unwise to try to oversimplfy situations that I don't fully understand.
