STATEMENT FROM THE CEO

April 24 , 2002

Our development testing is progressing on a number of fronts and we continue to be pleased with results. As a quick overview of some of the areas we are testing:

In addition to the extensive testing of our first generation mobile explosive detection device (EM-1) contained on the CDEX Web Site, the EM-1 is now being tested in different environments such as over ice, an exciting new development. We are scheduled to take this device to the government mine lanes during the next two months and are excited about the prospects.

STATEMENT FROM THE CEO

June 3, 2002

This CEO Statement notes the progress in two significant areas: contracts that provide revenue for the company and registration of CDEX stock.

Today, CDEX issued a short Press Release announcing the award of a contract to CDEX for the continued testing of the EM-1, CDEX’s proprietary first generation mobile explosive detection system. The testing is being conducted under the auspices of the United States Army. This contract reflects another step in the process of Army evaluation of the application of CDEX’s proprietary chemical detection technology to the Army’s countermine operational needs. We look forward to the testing and welcome the opportunity to demonstrate the technology in the field. While we are very excited about this new development, we are treating it as just another step toward our ultimate goals. I should add that CDEX has several other proposals outstanding and we are continuing to seek developmental partners in concert with our business vision reported in earlier CEO Statements.

STATEMENT FROM THE CEO

August 1, 2002

This is a short update on several issues. First, CDEX has passed another milestone – in July we received our first “revenues”. The revenue came from the testing contract under the auspices of the U.S. Army announced in my last CEO statement. Under that contract, we are continuing to provide information regarding testing of the EM-1X to the U.S. Army. Pursuant to the contract, we are unable to provide details to the public regarding the testing at this time.
