Just a thought... What do you people think of this idea.
We keep the main moderator and all of the assistants but NO NAMES are listed. I've kept track and at least 90% of posts are deleted have no explanation or comment. But, and I've been guilty of this as well, almost any poster who was deleted has some comment or something and a majority of the time it's directed at some mod or mods. I really don't care who is mod or deleting but a name puts a face on the job and gives ammo to posters. I believe with no known persons, people's rants would just petter out from lack of response. Everything would stay the same, questions of deletions can still be perfectly submitted and dealt with as usual. I've seen too many egos seep into moderation duties. I'd prefer the mods to be completely transparent on the thread.
I know we have a Mod Squad, but keeping an immediate mod and assistants attached to a board is still a good idea as they are closer to the action. I just think it's too ego tripping and I rather not know who's tripping.
