davidal,

I thought I remember you saying that you only used Lexapro and Wellbutrin in your practice for depression.

None of the people I know heve ever done very well on Paxil. A friend of mine who was just starting to get her life together and starting a new job called me from County/USC medical center here in Los Angeles. She had suddenly started hearing voices and hallucinating. (She had been a mild depressive before this.) I assume this is what you would call Major Psychotic Depression. (The same ailment that Corlux was trying to treat) She stayed at County, on suicide watch, for two weeks wher they had her on Paxil. It didn't seem to do much good. They sent her home and she started to regress. They tried her on Elavil. No good. She called and I suggested that she ask her doctor about Lexapro. Three weeks later she called me to tell me that she was back to work!!! The doctor had started her on Lexapro. Your remarks about Lexapro on this board was one of the things that got me to tell her to aske her doctor about Lexapro.
