The hype surrounding a possible deal w/MSFT placed an artificial demand on our pps when it did not come to fruition. The TS scenario became even more exacerbated when he (or Josh Levine) pulled, citing many reasons, one of which was an inability to close a deal. Was he specifically referring to MSFT, which was brought to NeoMedia's table thru an introduction between SS, R. Scobble and D. Heiser? Point is, it was an artificial run up and its fall out has been felt for quite some time...the good news is that if MSFT had a glean in their eye for us then, it probably has only increased, as a result of their poor performing AURA project and an inability to work around us thus far...which suggests to me that they are indeed very keen on this space and are watching the ScanBuy/NeoMedia patent dispute extremely close...hence MSFT's Don Dodge reference to ScanBuy as "one to watch".
