I think we should be hearing something with the approaching deadline of HIPPA
Since all HIPAA covered entities, including Medicare and all other health plans, must begin using NPIs on HIPAA standard transactions (which includes electronic claims) by May 23, 2007, providers must obtain NPIs promptly so they can use them in these transactions and not experience interruptions or delays in receiving reimbursement from health plans.

And since we are HIPPA approved. We should be rocking by May 23rd.
