Yep, the surest way to lose money is to buy a shorted stock and hold it. Either it's just a rumor and the pumpers will getcha, OR it's a complete POS and the shorters will getcha.

You cannot win unless you buy when the tick's nothing but a green blur.

Good stocks are obvious. Extensive DD is how you convince yourself to buy a bad one.
