This is IMHO... GPGD is a US company whose stock only trades through Pink Sheets in the US, but whose president happens to reside in BC. If Sharpe were to move out of BC, BCSC would have no basis for issuing an order on GPGD. Furthermore, it only applies to transactions involving a BC jurisdiction, and I doubt if it can be enforced in any way. It could be a headache for Regent, but if they follow through on their announced drilling plans, the requirements to revoke the cease order should be satisfied.
If you look at the specificity of the complaint, compared with other BCSC orders, there was some research involved that is above and beyond the norm. It looks to me like the order was composed by a disgruntled UDVE/MDGM investor and submitted to BCSC for approval, probably after being ignored by the SEC. It was a small victory.
