Yes, I absolutely can be done, but only the legal authorities can do it. I don't believe there is a way for a poster here to track a post backward to a street address and given name. One would have to have a method to trace the computer's ipo address back to the computer of the user and then break it's security codes and search the computer to find any personal information. Highly unlikely.

Ihub Matt could could by checking the user's registration, but of course giving out that info would be breach of privacy laws, unless the law gives him a subpoena.....

I'm not an expert in this area, but this is my IMO.
