Cyclical Bull Markets:

Within SECULAR bear markets are mini bull markets called CYCLICAL bull markets. They average between 21-38 months long and the returns are between +32% and +76% (DOW).

If we are in a SECULAR bear market - a more and more questionable assumption every day - which began in March, 2000, then the existing CYLICAL bull market is 54 months versus 21-38 and the returns are below for the major indexes. 

+ 78% DOW 
 +127% Nasdaq 
 + 89% S&P 500 
 +104% Wilshire 5000 
 +153% Russell 2000
