The patents are worthless! The patents are a scham designed to give their management a marketing tool to help sell stock. Have you ever read the patents? Did you see the arbitration case?
FYI - The entire patent is based on the illusion that Nova/IBCL had a new, unique product. In fact, they have a peice of paper that is not worth the ink it was written with. Please entertain me for a moment. IBCL/NOVA/MOSES claim that they invented a unique way to stabilize a known antimicrobial in a water base. Great concept! Emory had already developed the similar process. Both patents will stabilize the active ingredient. The BIG difference. The entire purpose of the patent was to stabilize an antimcirobial/antibacterial compound. Correct? Well then, what happens when you add a sugar to stabilze an antimicrobial in a water solution? Once you apply the solution to a substrate the water evaporates and you are left with sugar residue and an antimicrobail. Sugar is a food source and since the active ingredient bonds to anything that it touches, the antimicrobial bonds to the sugar instead of the substrate, thereby reducing the durability of the antimicrobail. So, what good is it to have a patent or several patents for an antimicrobial that does not work? It is not my opinion it is fact! The patents will make a stabilize the active ingredient, but they be effective. In some cases, if not most cases, treating a substrate with said patents will be worse than if you had never applied anything in the first place.
So, for the record, I did not bid a single nickel for those patents or EPA registrations. Do your homework! We have already won a $1.5 million dollar judgement against Nova, Moses and Smith proving for fact that their products have violated our patents.
