that is the key... if the company has a conversion pipe type of funding in place, that would be the source of naked shorting if there is one.... as to retail shorting , not likely unless maybe and offshore account in retail... areas of concern are panama, caymen islands, and lichtenstein, austria and bahammas... but bet very few have offshore accounts in retail here.... not sure about canada though..
