Duh, the point is that there are always ways for criminals or psychopaths to get guns- whether automatic or not ( by the way he had to change his magazines probably 15 times- not exactly an automatic weapon.
Do you propose a ban of all guns??
And yes, it was stupid in that case for the simple fact ( explained 3 times- but I know you're slow ) that if they had been able to defend themselves, a lot more of the students would be alive.
See, I'll type slowly here so you can understand, I was NOT commenting on any ban of assault or any other kind of weapons- I was commenting that using this as an example was stupid. THis was a case where the schools ban on guns on campus ended up costing lives. TO go from that horror to extending the ban is stupid. See, the criminal/psycopath wasn't affected by the ban- just the innocent students
