Ok, itz been 2 days since the BUNZQ "accumulation anomaly" was first observed, and I have still have not cumm up with an reasonable answer to this question, other than whatz in tha IBoxxxx:
"Why would sumbuddy suddenly start ACCUMULATING 5-10% of a Q-stock's o/s since March 1?"
I've NEVER seen a situation like this! I thought by now I would have come up with a rational exxxxplanation, but after looking thru dozens of past "q" scenarios... I can say THIS COULD BE A FIRST!!! And I mean in the-history-of-the-stockk-markitt-going-back-to-1890 kind of first!
#1 - The first obvious exxxxplanation could be that sumbuddy was setting up a pump and dump.
But this NEVER happens. If someone wanted to pump and dump it they would start buying BIG to create a FRENZY- then DUMP INTO THA FRENZY- and dump on tha same day, not just buy 50-100k blocks over an exxxxtended period of time.
#2 - Could it be summ late shortcovering?
No way. The stock was pronounced dead July 2006, any interests along these lines would have exxxxpired by the end of the year. The current 15k short is interesting, but no conclusions can be drawn on why a $150 short still exxxxists on BUNZQ.
#3 - Summbuddy mis-typeing in tha wrong tikka?
C'mon... therez nuthin even close to BUNZQ
#4 - Russian mafia hijacking sumbuddys account and buying shares to run a scam?
No. Its been six weeks. They couldn't risk tha account owner finding out by now.
#5 - Summbuddy buying BUNZQ "souveneir" certificates to later sell on Ebay or something?
Now thats going WAAAAAY out there.
NO. The bottom line is at least one crazy(or brilliant?) person thinks these shares have some VALUE!! I mean there are 10000 stocks out there trading, heres the choice this person had on March 1:
Accumulate $5000 on BUNZQ - post-bk illiquid, supposedly cancelled- the chances of selling for a small profit or even getting your money back would "appear" to be like 10000-1!! The mm's would naked short every share... may as well mail a $5000 check to Knight Securities!
Accumulate $5000 on GOOG - Just bought DCLK and YouTube, taking over the internet... sell fo $10k in a cupple yearz
And this person pickkks ... BUNZQ!! Ok, so I'm thinking given the risk/reward scenario here of dropping $5000 on BUNZQ(a 10000-1 underdog)... means this mystery person must HAVE TO be thinking therez summ kind of MEGA-HUUUUUUYGE payback of $50k-500k here at BUNZQ!
NOW do you see what I'm saying... people buy stocks for a reason- I don't think the ENORMITY of what this ANOMALY could mean has sunk in yet... not only for BUNZQ... but if it indeed this "accumulation anomaly" turns out to be a FIRST TIME EVER shell takeover... the impact on ALL LOW FLOAT Q SHELLS!!
And now the mm's, who are seeing this amazing anomaly play out since March 1... have actually started to raise the bid and ask- ON A 10000-1 DOGGG... which means... there is at least 1 mm who BELIEVES the the odds may have moved a little closer to 1000-1, and that "seed of doubt" arising from this anomaly will keep that mm from snuffing out a HUGE RALLY with nakkked shorting!
Still a huge gamble, but the "March 1 Accumulator" saw a 1 cent bid for the first time today, and he's got .003 shares prolly... and he said...
"NO DEALLL!!!" to a 300% gain... THAT BUYER KNOWZ SUMTHIN- and that sumthin he knowz MUST BE that BUNZQ shares have summ value.. and 50 cents pps would be a comparable top end retail value for a 8m o/s clean shell!!! Let tha TAKEOVER begin!!!
