Accumulation: When bigger players buy into stock, they cannot just buy, they also have to sell during their buys. Buying alone, will only push the price up and out of range, so they have to accumulate over a period of time, buying when bouts of selling come into the market. Often, they will accumulate in the morning, and then drop the price back by selling enough of the stock quickly to lower the price. But, overall, they are buying more than they are selling.
