I watch or review my HMGP Time&Sales everyday. Part of the problem is that someone is selling. Someone with a very large position has been systematically unloading their position for weeks now.

They'll slowly bidwack for a while and then the MMs will move out of their way and drop the bid. Next they are on the ask at the same price. Then if someone or the MMs gets lower than them on the ask and people are buying, they move down lower to make sure they get the transactions. (This is why you see the ask drop on buying). Is suppose it could be an MM doing this with shorts, but simpler explanation is that someone with shares is doing it. They are doing it in a way and spread out over a long enough timeframe, that it is obvious their goal is to get as much for their shares in the short term as possible, not just to drive the price down.

Right now there just isn't enough interest to overcome the selling and the next completed well could be a month away. Unfortunately, if the selling keeps up...
