Had this problem with scottrade myself, answer is
that the E is added to the end of the ticker symbol to those companies that aren't up to date on their filings. Scottrade has restricted ONLINE trading of this company also because of suspicious activity (their words) therefore you don't see the bid ask etc. You CAN STILL TRADE if you call in, and they WILL give you the internet rate, not the phone in rate...
