Alma Resources Sees Up to 597g/t Silver in Recent Samples at Barreteros Property, Sinaloa State, Mexico

Alma Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: ALV)(FRANKFURT: W2U)(WKN: A0HM01) ("Alma" or "the Company") is pleased to announce results from recent sampling that is part of an extensive surface and underground sampling program at its Barreteros property, located near the town of Cosala in Mexico's Sinaloa State.

Results for chip samples from a stope near the Cata Plutarco workings and surface samples taken at other showings on the property are presented in Table 1.

Alma's drilling program continues in the core zone at the property, exploring the extent of the mineralized system that was the target of the extensive historic mining activities at the site. Underground, surface and drill core samples are sent to a preparatory laboratory in Hermosillo, Mexico, and are then shipped to Vancouver for analysis.

Luc Lamarche, P.Geol, is the Company's qualified person for the Barreteros project under the definition of National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Lamarche is responsible for the current exploration program and the preparation of all technical information provided in this release.
