...NORTH STAR DIAMONDS, Inc. is a mining company focused on the discovery of commercial diamond deposits. North Star Diamonds has exceptional land holdings and a highly skilled management and technical team respected for breaking new ground in the highly competitive diamond industry. North Star Diamond’s CEO Walter Stunder is a gemologist whose parent’s originated from Ukraine and who has been working in the former Soviet Union and Ukraine searching for diamonds since 1980. In the mid 1990’s, diamonds were found in South Eastern Ukraine by Mr. Stunder. Mr. Stunder then formed an alliance with a public company to continue drilling, but unfortunately after spending $450,000, funding ran out. Mr. Stunder has now joined with NSDM and has switched his diamond focus to North Western Ukraine where he has brought his knowledge, all the maps, and full rights to explore the entire Western Ukraine. With this knowledge, NSDM is not in the stage of prospecting for kimberlite pipes, but building on a base to continue drilling them. Mr. Stunder has brought back to Canada kimberlite samples for lab testing. This is brand new undiscovered territory in Central Europe. North Star Diamonds, Inc. has completed the acquisition of three advanced-stage diamond projects in the Ukraine. These projects lie along a major structural trend extending from Russia into Ukraine (the rich and profitable Archangel diamond mine in Russia is situated along this same trend). Topography, climate and excellent infrastructure in the project areas will permit year-round operations. Ukraine is a stable, emerging democracy with a long history of diamond cutting, polishing and marketing, as well as being home to some of the world's foremost diamond exploration geologists. Regional and local geophysical surveys and drill testing of kimberlite targets have identified more than 190 anomalies. Many of these anomalies have yielded considerable numbers of micro and macro-diamonds, many of which are considered gem quality. Previous Soviet governments had banned the search for diamonds in Ukraine. Professor Leonid Galetsky, the former Vice Minister of Geology of Ukraine has offered to work with NSDM as a consultant. The Ukrainian government now wants to open their land for diamond discovery - therefore giving North Star Diamonds exclusive rights to the area. SPECIAL POINTS OF INTEREST: • The Volinska, Novograd Volyn, and Shepetovka projects total roughly 3,000,000 acres in Ukraine. Within that area, NSDM has pinpointed over 190 potential kimberlites, and are starting to drill on 96 of them.
