Of the ones I've watched, usually the company takes steps to cancel the stock whenever the oversight is brought to their attention either thru heavy trading or contacting them.

if that is correct then why is DEXTQ going out of its way to NOT cancel the cancelled shares but instead cancelling some new shares and keeping the old 'cancelled' shares as active common stock of the company?
