I wrote something like that in the BBS days as a practical joke and had a bunch of my users go out of their rabbit-assed minds. I can't remember the terminology for it, but I'm very guilty of assuming that because I know a GIF can't format a hard drive, everyone knows that.

Actually, these days, I wonder how many people even know what a "format" is.

80% of everything I know about computers is obsolete. Might FDISK and FORMAT be in that 80%?
