What ever happened to forgive and forget? That team is just as guilty as being a bunch of losers as he is! They could have taken that whole negative situation and turn it into a positive... As popular as Imus was he could have used his powers for good and done plenty of community service to educate people on racism and all that... Those girls could have risen above his dumb ass comments and said, you know what, he was wrong and he's being punished. he could donate to their pocketbooks or get his sponsors to give them discounted cars (that he could pay for) or whatever to make up for his stupidity... and that team could have come out of this on the moral highroad but as it stands they just lived up to his expectations of them! In the end it was just a bunch of words that they listen to everyday on their IPods. Rappers rapping about degrading women a hell of a lot worse than what Imus said! They never bitched about those words did they? What Imus said was wrong.. no question... however, it wasn't bad enough to end his career... or anyone's career...
Give me a break.. People say worse than that here on IHUb and people just blow it off. What is this world coming to???
