However, could the final buyout price be based on the current stock price. Keep in mind before I put this scenario forward, that I have no idea what goes into negotiations. The biggest negotiation I have ever undertaken is for a used car.
So, is it possible that the deal might be structured in a way that the purchase price is say 4x the 10day average price on the purchase date? If something like this is the case, then current share price does matter. Just something to chew on.
