"They had to make modifications to allow it to operate over a broader temperature range."

I think this is the polite way to state that EDIG original design was not up to spec. It that were true, it would also explain why EDIG has been unable to recognize any of the NRE fees associated with this project to date.

The customer has not accepted the design because it does not meet specs, I can't think of any other reason to have not recognized a penny of the NRE's at this point.

And before anyone jumps in and claims that F-T changed the spec, there is no way they missed the acceptable temp range in their requirements, they have way to many existing products out there in the real world to have missed something like that

ucansee....am am not 100% what you are saying here:

Not e.Digital's. But you knew THAT didn't you?

Just a suggestion, but you shouldn't rely on the information on message boards.

(lol)

the F-T player is not EDIG's?? That is news, isn't it. And as far as not relying on message boards, thanks for the advice. Kind of ironic coming from the queen of bad, wrong, and worthless DD.

so chwdr...

...there is no way they missed the acceptable temp range in their requirements...

The space shuttle blew up, twice. Once 'cuz it was too cold. Once 'cuz it was too hot.

The Mars probe blasted into the surface of the planet instead of landing softly 'cuz they forgot to convert from metric to English."

There's more than enough ways to miss it."

Then I wait with much anticipation your reasoning as to why EDIG cannot recognize a penny of the NRE fees after working on this project for 3 years. You and Todd have a reason, right?

and I will just ignore the moderators thinly veiled personal attack. Great example of a civil board.

Actually, chwdrhed...I happen to believe owd when he says that he couldn't think of another reason."
