What are you talking about? The DTCC has stopped providing services and this prevents any shares from being traded. The DTCC does not have the authority to halt trading. Get your facts straight: http://www.sec.gov/answers/tradinghalt.htm
I don't really care what the DTCC says, the whole management of the DTCC consists of people from Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, etc. etc. Talk about conflict of interest there hehe. But on that SEC page, do you see it saying there that 'the DTC has the authority to halt trading' ? I don't. Therefore they don't have that authority.
Or is there more news and has any exchange called a trading halt? If so, please let me know, I'd like to find out more :)
If not, you are disseminating untruth and guilty of stock manipulation aren't you?
