This is not what I am hearing from my sources. They tell me that a x86-64bit OS requires all drivers to be 64-bit.

OK, now I am convinced that Elmer's entire reason for this thread is to troll a piece of FUD that he knows is meaningless.

Applications do not call drivers in Windows, as Elmer knows. Applications call OS APIs and DLL extensions. The OS takes care of the hardware interfaces.

There is no problem here at all.

I will not respond further to this thread because it is simply an attempt at spreading nonsense.
