Folks,
FWIW, I have seen this happen with select brokers before. I have ST and no problems.

Question; "could or would the brokers "suspend" trading to send a negative signal and cause panic?"

It would be a tricky, creative and effective way to scare the willies out of the PPS!

Don't some of these brokers, who do this sometimes, act a bit like MMs when necessary?

Just wondering and thinking out loud while reflecting on little experience.
