A block of stock is 100 shares.

The problem with Level II is there could be many more shares that are hidden. You know this is true when the best bid or ask price stays the same and they stock continues to trade at the same price even though all of the VISIBLE shares have disappeared from the level II screen.

Also, stop feeding the level II screen with your orders.
You know the professional traders and the institutional traders cannot function without seeing your limit orders ahead of time.

Hide your orders and you've won half the battle!
