Just a mere novice myself, but I've read about "front loading" on stocks and its association with "pump and dump" schemes. It's the deliberate heavy accumilation of a stock at a low or suppressed PPS (sometimes the PPS has been purposely suppressed by the lack of news, impact of certain filings etc, or driven down by planned bashing.) Then as the price rises on news (the pump) it's sold into the market at a good profit (the dump) causing many to be holding the bag. The increase in the PPS is unsustainable due to the "front loading" selling into the market. Omni please correct me if I'm off base here.
