Just my thoughts here.. but wouldn't it make sense for a larger pharm. company like say, johnson & johnson( who gave icagen 15mm in up-front $$ for the development of their sickle cell drug..which has been canceled) to look for other "stronger" candidates ..like xkem?? if nicosan truely has no real competition then it would be a no brainer for pfe/jnj/bmy etc etc to approach xkem with some type of partnership..
