I see your point but I believe they are talking about theoretical yields and not actual planned production. My understanding according to "white pages" on page 5 that the process will produce either depending on your goal, but not both at same time. Right now ethanol is a hot topic so they probably gave the theoretical yield of the ethanol process that the plants will be capable of. They would be foolish to ignore the more lucrative plastics market just to make ethanol. I think it's more important to look at all the products this process is capable of, and realize that they can change the product to meet the demands of the market that is most beneficial at that time. Then you'll see that the potential goes far beyond ethanol in an already saturated market.
