I see no reason for such a hostile attitude. It makes you look very childish.

Of course it's perfectly OK to use BIOS updates. What I question is tweaking the settings differently than the manufacturer uses. They may provide higher benchmarks but those settings haven't been validated. That may not be important to a pimple faced geek who does nothing but blast mutant aliens but others might be concerned about long term stability. That goes for either an Intel or AMD system.
