If the big units aren't selling in the big hospitals, what makes MP think that the small units will sell in the small hospitals?

This is not a fix. If the big units don't sell they're in trouble.

If they start offering a smaller unit, why would a big hospital purchase a bigger unit that they've already dismissed.

Scrapping the big units and starting a new production run of smaller units sounds expensive and time consuming.
