The shorts have a distinct atvantage over investors. For one the hedgefunds that do the shorting are part of the same companies that do the market making in these securities. The different hedgefunds and market makers are also in contact with one another. Also their contact is private. They talk on the phone. When they work in concert, no one else knows their plans.
We can work in concert but the SEC would probably call that fraud and put US in jail lol. Its a rigged game for sure. What the company is doing will help. We shall see if that is enough.
