In defense....

These boards always become a little out of hand as they get more popular. There's over 230 boarmarks now. There was maybe half that when you were in charge. It's far more difficult to deal with now than it was then.

That being said, I've seen some pretty hateful comments to some posters written by those in charge now. Some were downright childish. They certainly weren't any more appropriate than some of the posts they're deleting. You're correct in that you do have to give respect to get it.
