What happened with Chuck E Cheese was that first off he was young and very rich. Then he started not paying much attention to it and started focusing his time and money into other projects. In the 80s all of a sudden teenagers lost the interest in a concept like CEC. Because he was taking the profits from CEC to do other things and was yachting around it was to late. The board of directors were mad and voted him out. So I don't understand why that would be so discerning given that this time he has all his attention focused on Uwink, he learned from his mistakes and he doesn't give up. Plus he was able to make his vision a reality with both CEC and Uwink.
