I just sent an email to my US Representative (Joe Barton) asking that he look into the DOJ raid on ERHC and try to ascertain the timeframe the DOJ is planning on relating to unsealing the indictment, formally making charges against ERHC, or ending the investigation and dropping the matter. I don't know the legal specifics but said I found it abhorrent that the Govt. could basically put the company in "legal limbo" for years without getting off their keisters and either charging or dropping such matters. Probably will go nowhere but worth a try.
OT: Tamtam, I saw where Belgium is making you now pay a tax (20 Euro) to be able to BBQ in your backyard and is going to use helicopters to fine people they find are BBQing that have not paid the tax. Carbon footprint concern is going crazy.
Would have thought California would be the first to come up with some nutcase law like that.
